A idealistic, outgoing Aeon. One of two patron gods of Taiyue, an Old World city-state. He died with the city during the death of the Creator.
Personality
Idealistic and charismatic, An Tai is seen as the wise, beloved patron god of Taiyue.
His leaderlike qualities make him more suited to the public eye than Yuan;
as a result, to many he is the face of the city-state.
While he can be serious when necessary, he generally approaches life with a childlike wonder,
and loves spending time among humans to observe new trends and inventions.
This whimsy isolates him from most of the other immortals,
whom An Tai considers self-absorbed and close minded.
Generally, An Tai is seen as a friendly and capable leader.
However, belying his whimsy is a deep detachment from humanity.
He thinks of humans like humans think of pets: entertaining, cute, but insignificant.
When he first established Taiyue,
he thought of it as an interesting project rather than a place inhabited by living, thinking beings.
Since then, he has gained a better understanding of humanity.
Still, it is rare for him to truly care about anyone.
In the past, many people assumed he would be merciful or lenient when pleading their case
during a trial or at the negotiating table. An Tai was nothing of the sort.
